I am an experienced therapist with many different skills, therefore the approach I will use with you will be unique to you. The initial assessment session allows you and I to get to know one another, for both of us to feel safe with each other and for me to start to gather the vital information that will allow me to put together a unique therapy plan JUST FOR YOU.
By listening attentively and patiently I can begin to perceive the difficulties from your point of view and can help you to see things more clearly, possibly from a different perspective. Counselling is a way of enabling choice or change or of reducing confusion. It does not involve giving advice or directing you to take a particular course of action.
This will result in you being able to start to live and experience the life you want and deserve to; by teaching you the best skills, once you have expored and understood your issues, to achieve your goals both now and in the future.
